Long-term offtake contracts were signed between Kazzinc LLP and domestic producers of the Karaganda region.
The chamber of entrepreneurs of Karaganda region together with "Kazakhstan center of industry and export" JSC held a round table for the largest backbone enterprises and subsoil users, domestic producers and suppliers of the region to assist in the conclusion of long-term contracts and in the development of production of promising and competitive products. Problematic issues of development of the sector were also voiced and taken under control.
Director of the Chamber of entrepreneurs of Karaganda region Mr.Ernar Kulpeisov told about "Atameken" tools for supporting domestic producers while opening the meeting.
“As you know, the Government allocated 600 billion tenge to support the production of consumer goods of the Economics of Simple Things. In this regard, a Project Office has been created on the Chamber’s site, which provides support for business projects from the stage of its financing, monitoring and assistance in resolving emerging problems. Starting this year, we have been issuing an Industrial Certificate, due to which the supplier will be able to confirm its production capacity, indicating the status of a domestic manufacturer. Also, the work of the commission on support for domestic producers, the algorithm of before/after tender control is being carried out to organize a negotiation platform and solve exciting issues of domestic business ”, - Ernar Kulpeisov said.
The Deputy Chairman of the Board of “Kazakhstan Industry and Export Center” JSC Turar Zholmagambetov informed the companies about the launch of a joint project of “QazIndustry” and the “World Bank” - the “Supplier Development Service”.
«The functions of the “Supplier Development Service” will include expanding market relations of small and medium enterprises with large local and international corporations operating in Kazakhstan. As a result, the “Supplier Development Service” will contribute to improving the ability of small and medium enterprises to provide goods and services to large state, quasi-state, private and multinational companies. First of all, the program will be implemented among enterprises in the gas, oil, metallurgy and mining sectors”, - said Turar Zholmagambetov.
Within the framework of the Round table, the Parties discussed problematic issues arising from the participation in the procurement of goods, works and services of subsoil users and backbone enterprises, details of the development of the professional services sector and opportunities for the development of inter-production around backbone enterprises.
One of the key points of the event: with the full support of QazIndustry, a series of off-take contracts (agreements of intent for mutual cooperation) were signed between “Kazzinc” LLP and 6 domestic manufacturers: “Uglemehanizatsiya” LLP, “Vira-Mine Kazakhstan” LLP, “Profland” LLP, “Leotek KZ” LLP, “GZP Atlant” LLP and “AlbaStroyDor” LLP for more than 3 billion tenge.
Also, Memorandum of cooperation was signed between “Kazakhmys Corporation” LLP and domestic producers such as “Inkar-1” LLP, “Kaztechnoresur” LLP.
